1. The Doctrine of Discovery: How It Shaped Our World

An immersive learning experience that brings history into the room.
Participants walk through how the Doctrine of Discovery shaped colonization, the church, land rights, and modern policy—and engage in guided reflection circles that reveal how it still affects our lives today. This session is interactive, reflective, and designed to build understanding, compassion, and courage for change.
2. A Reconciliation Framework Through the Anishinaabe Creation Story
-
A guided, story-centred session rooted in oral tradition and relational teaching. Experience the Anishinaabe telling of Creation as a living framework for reconciliation today. Participants explore the spiritual, relational, and ethical teachings embedded within the story and leave with a deeper understanding of what healthy, sacred relationship looks like between peoples, land, and Creator.
3. “When I Say Treaty, You Say Covenant”
-
Together we examine Treaties through Indigenous frameworks and their deep parallels to biblical Covenant. Participants explore the spirit and intent behind these sacred agreements and engage in meaningful discussions on how faith communities can restore right relationship with God, creation, and Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Includes practical steps for living Treaty today.
4. Returning to Self
-
Explore Indigenous teachings, identity frameworks, and relational principles that guide reconciliation. Through teachings, storytelling, and guided discussion, participants learn how Indigenous frameworks can support faith communities in building authentic relationships and healthy dialogue with Indigenous groups while also reconnecting with their own inner compass.
5. Indigenous Plant Wisdom
-
Participants explore Indigenous plant teachings and learn how land connection, plant use, and Indigenous healing have worked in harmony since time immemorial. The workshop includes a gentle theological grounding in how God designed creation and the human body to participate in healing without competing with Jesus as our chief physician.
6. Indigenous Pathways to Wellness
